Our client in chemicals industry in Havelock (New Brunswick) is looking for a Site supervisor. This is a temporary 12-month assignment.

On a daily basis, you will:

• Take charge of project coordination functions involving various stakeholders in the industrial environment
• Communicate with the various stakeholders during the work and ensure compliance with the standards in force
• Supervise the work and the start-up
• Ensure that occupational health and safety (OHS) rules are applied
• Coordinate the work with the contractor, the local construction department and the various site stakeholders
• Monitor the progress of the site, raise delays/issues and notify the project manager
• Coordinate activities with surrounding work at the site
• Ensure that the work is done in accordance with what is indicated in the plans and specifications and provide technical support for any request for change
• Ensure compliance with costs and deadlines
• Validate the conformity of the equipment

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of work experience as a supervisor
• ASP Construction course
• Relevant and confirmed experience in an industrial environment
• Experience in heavy industry and/or factory work
• Excellent communication skills and good team spirit
