Our client in the Energy sector in Saint John (New Brunswick) is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support our Asset Integrity Program for a 10-month contract with possibility of extension.

On a daily basis, you will...

• Review of API standards comparing them to our current asset integrity programs in the areas of pressure piping, pressure vessels, PSVs and deadleg programs
• Review of current work practices identifying gaps in program requirements, roles and responsibilities, documentation and training
• Developing solutions to address the gaps and implementing technical changes as required
• Development of business processes and practices to ensure compliance to our company standard
• Visits Onboarding in Saint John at Home Office and Refinery. Could have the potential for other site visits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Owner/operator with experience in Refining
• Experience in maintenance and reliability programs
• 10-15 years’ experience
• Member of the Professional order of Engineers of the province (APEGNB)
• Spoken and written languages: English (required) , French (Asset)

Terms:

• Start and end dates – ASAP to 15-Dec 2025.
• Location: Home Office, Remote is acceptable.
• Travel and living expenses will be covered.
