Who is GCM Consultants?
We are a local engineering firm that has been helping clients in all industries with engineering, operations and maintenance since 1994. We measure our success by the continuity of our work with all our clients. We're always on the lookout for new projects that push the boundaries of creativity.

Daily tasks include:

• Creating layout drawings, panel drawings, junction box drawings, loop drawings and more with AutoCAD.
• Supporting Electrical/Instrumentation & Controls engineers in the production of plans and specifications for Electrical/Instrumentation and Controls projects.
• Assisting the lead designer in their various functions, including estimating drawing hours, system configuration of software used, and issuing drawings.

Requirements:

• Education: DVS or DCS in Industrial Drafting or equivalent
• 0–5 years of experience
• Spoken and written languages: English (French an asset)

You are the one we are looking for if you have:

• Knowledge of AutoCAD software.
• Relevant industrial experience an asset.
• Relevant consulting engineering experience an asset.
• Knowledge of Microstation and 3D an asset.
• Knowledge of Navisworks or AutoCad 3D an asset.
• Autonomy, versatility and initiative.
• Ability to work easily as part of a team.
• Interest in technical drawings in other disciplines (versatility).
• The calibre of an inspiring person who enjoys their work.
