Who is GCM Consultants?
We are a local engineering firm that has been helping customers in all industries with engineering, operations and maintenance since 1994. We measure our success by the continuity of our work with all our clients. We're always on the lookout for new projects that push the boundaries of creativity.

Daily tasks include:

• Creating layout drawings, single line drawings, lighting drawings, panel drawings, junction box drawings, etc. with AutoCAD and/or Microstation.
• Supporting electrical engineers in the production of plans and specifications for electrical projects.
• Assisting the lead designer in their various functions, including estimating drawing hours, system configuration of software used, and issuing drawings.

Requirements:

• Education: DVS or DCS in industrial design or equivalent.
• 2–10 years of experience in the field.
• Fluency in French and English required occasionally since the person will collaborate with colleagues and clients outside of Quebec, both written and oral.

You are the one we are looking for if you have:

• Relevant industrial experience an asset.
• Relevant consulting engineering experience an asset.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and 3D software.
• Knowledge of Microstation an asset.
• Autonomy, versatility and initiative.
• Ability to work easily in a team.
• Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code an asset.
• Interest in technical drawings in other disciplines (versatility).
• The quality of an inspiring person who enjoys their work.
